The Spira are an advanced alien civilization who surreptitiously study the human species. Their superior technology allows them to integrate with the consciousness of a human subject, experiencing life through the all the senses of their unsuspecting host. Spira law strictly forbids interference in human affairs, allowing the use of consciousness integration only for observation.
